The 91st edition of MACEF, the international home show organized in Milan, closed its doors on September 11th after welcoming 2,000 exhibitors in 115,000 m2 of space divided into fourteen pavilions, including the "Jewelry” pavilion reserved mainly for fantasy jewelry as well as precious stones. Last September, the international home show by MACEF welcomed 83,700 visitors to Milan. This represents a 10.5% increase in visitors over September 2010. Visitors from outside Italy increased by 15%, to 11,500. “The good results from MACEF are particularly important,” emphasized Enrico Pazzali, the director of the Milan show, “because in an economic context that is difficult for all sectors, this season of professional trade shows is moving forward with positive momentum.” The MACEF show is divided into four major sectors: home decoration, kitchen and table arts, gifts, jewelry and fashion accessories. "Bijoux," a show within the show, included two halls dedicated to fashion jewelry and precious stones as well as clothing and accessories.
